Donate Your Heartbeats by Idoven: the app where your heartbeats can change the future

At Idoven, we are committed to advancing the early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases with artificial intelligence. This World Heart Day, September 29th, we launch Donate Your Heartbeats by Idoven — the first app that allows anyone to donate their heartbeats and contribute to advancing cardiovascular research and prevention.

Why World Heart Day matters

Cardiovascular diseases remain the leading cause of death worldwide, responsible for 17.9 million deaths every year (WHO). The numbers are stark, but prevention and timely care can change many of these outcomes. World Heart Day is a reminder that protecting our hearts is a shared global responsibility.

The first app where your heartbeats can save lives

For years, Idoven has driven the movement #DonateYourHeartbeats. Together with athletes, companies and associations, thousands of heartbeats have already been donated to help develop our technology and advance cardiovascular research.

Now, on World Heart Day, we take the next step: launching the first app that allows anyone, anywhere, to join this movement. With Donate Your Heartbeats by Idoven, every person can contribute to cardiovascular innovation simply by donating their own heartbeats.

How does it work?

Donate Your Heartbeats by Idoven is powered by the Apple Watch, which can record an electrocardiogram (ECG) in just 30 seconds. By downloading the app and granting permissions, you can donate those ECGs securely and anonymously.

Each recording contributes to a collective effort to:

  • Generate valuable data for cardiovascular research.
  • Build smarter AI algorithms.
  • Accelerate prevention and early diagnosis.

By donating your heartbeats, you turn a simple gesture — recording your ECG and sharing it through the app — into action that can help protect millions of lives.
