IDOVEN and Watts Lab team up to help prevent diseases like heart attack and sudden death in cycling

From IDOVEN We continue to break new ground in all types of sports with the aim of detecting heart problems early to prevent diseases such as heart attacks and sudden death .

By our services have passed and donated his heartbeatThe project includes the development of a database of football players (including the partnership with the Iker Casillas Foundation), basketball players, marathoners, mountain runners, triathletes, cyclists...

Today we are getting a little closer to cycling by signing a collaboration agreement with Watts Lab, a company with which we have many synergies.

Watts Lab is a cycling coach and performance studio. Focused 100% on cycling training. For any bike lover, whatever their level and discipline: Road, mountain, MTB, cyclocross, triathlon, track, enduro, donwhill, XCO...

Just as IDOVEN was born from research in cardiology, we have developed this work at the National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC ) as part of the Advanced Development Laboratory on Arrhythmia Mechanisms and Therapies and the Higher Sports Council (CSD) so that professional heart technology can be in the hands of any athlete. Watts Lab was created with the objective of democratizing high performance tools and making them available to any cyclist. Understanding that training is not only for professionals, but for all those cycling lovers who want to enjoy their hobby and want to optimize the maximum time they have to train.

According to Watts Lab: "The goal we have is not to have people train for the sakeof training. No it's a matter of training more, but training better."

This statement has a lot to do with IDOVEN, we do not want athletes to overtrain or take heart risks while doing sport. What we want, and what we work for, is that any sportsperson, regardless of their level, can perform any physical activity without putting their life at risk. Thus helping to prevent early heart problems and diseases such as myocardial infarction and sudden death.

With this agreement, we want to help athletes to improve their performance on the bike. Without putting their heart system at risk by monitoring it with our services and feeding it with the artificial intelligence of our algorithms to help prevent heart disease.

Together we continue to work so that each sportsman or woman has a longer, healthier and happier life doing the sport they are most passionate about.

If you run a sports centre, get on contact with IDOVEN and we tell you how we can help you take care of your clients' heart health.
